Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) has swapped its plans for Weeks 11 and 13 of Season 3, league sources inform Table Tennis TV.
Teams that were scheduled to play during Week 11 at the Broward Table Tennis Club in Hollywood, Florida, will now play during Week 13. Additionally, teams that were scheduled to play during Week 13 at the ULH Event Center in Houston will now play during Week 11.
Week 11 at ULH Event Center will now feature the Texas Smash, Atlanta Blazers, Chicago Wind and Carolina Gold Rush. The weekend will begin on Jan. 30, when Tom Feng and the Blazers face Feng’s former team, the Wind, at 4 p.m. The very next game will be a rematch of the Season 2 championship game between the Smash and Gold Rush at 7:30 p.m.
Week 13 at the Broward Table Tennis Club will now feature the Gold Rush, Princeton Revolution, Florida Crocs and Los Angeles Spinners. A few notable reunions will take place this week, including Spinners star Matilda Ekholm’s return to Florida on March 6 at 7:30 p.m., and when Spinners coach Romain Lorentz has to face the Gold Rush, with whom he won the Season 2 championship, on March 8 at 11 a.m.
MLTT begins its third season on Sept. 5, when the Florida Crocs take on the Portland Paddlers at 4 p.m. at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. The season will be streamed live on Table Tennis TV.
