Major League Table Tennis’ Season 3 trade window will be open from Dec. 15 (9 a.m. EST) to Dec. 22 (5 p.m. EST), league sources tell Table Tennis TV.
Starting on Monday morning, teams may trade players and draft picks with one another until the Dec. 22 deadline. No trade can take place after that date until that team’s offseason begins.
A trade cannot go through unless the coaches and owners for all teams involved agree to it. Coaches and players may not discuss trades outside of the window or disclose deals in progress outside of negotiations.
Three trades have been made since the start of MLTT’s first season, including the Sid Naresh-Wei Wang trade between Portland and Carolina this past April. Naresh has been a key doubles presence for Portland all season, and Wang adds to a Gold Rush team that lost Satoshi Aida, Hong Lin and Romain Lorentz over the offseason.
This window marks the unofficial halfway point of Season 3. There will be one more week of matches before then, when the New York Slice, Los Angeles Spinners, Bay Area Blasters and Atlanta Blazers face off against one another from Friday through Sunday.
All of matches will be streamed exclusively on Table Tennis TV, which you can find online, our iOS app, Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Firestick. Sign up today on tabletennis.tv and receive a thirty-day free trial.
