Xue Fei has signed a deal to join Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) club TSV Bad Königshofen starting this winter, the club announced.
Xue is currently the No. 72 Men’s Singles player in the world, peaking at No. 36 on June 3.
Xue has defeated several TTBL stars on the world circuit, including Borussia Düsseldorf’s Dang Qiu and new teammate Andre Bertelsemeier. Recently, Xue reached the Round of 16 at WTT Champions Macao 2025 after taking down superstar Tomokazu Harimoto (Men’s No. 3).
In his young table tennis career, the 26-year-old already boasts a Chinese Super League championship and an Asian Games gold medal. He became the first player with a penhold grip to sweep all boys’ events at the World Junior Table Tennis Championships in 2017.
Xue will join Bertelsmeier, Bastian Stegler and Daniel Habesohn on a Bad Königshofen club fighting to remain in TTBL. After making a postseason appearance last season, Bad Königshofen now finds itself in grave danger of relegation, sitting at the bottom of the league with a 1-8 record.
Bad Königshofen will return to the table on Dec. 17 against TTC Schwalbe Bergneustadt. It is unclear when Xue will make his TTBL debut as of this article’s publication.
