The European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) announced the draws for the Round of 16 of the ETTU Europe Top 16 Cup 2026 on Thursday.
The Round of 16 will take place on Friday, and will feature a single-elimination Men’s Singles tournament and a Women’s Singles tournament. These tournaments will feature the 14 highest-ranked participants in each gender, as well as the four winners of Thursday’s qualifying round.
Germany’s Annett Kaufmann (No. 16), France’s Charlotte Lutz (No. 17), Spain’s Álvaro Robles (No. 15) and Croatia’s Tomislav Pucar (No. 16) won their respective qualifying tournaments on Thursday and earned the final four spots in the Round of 16.
The winner of each of the following Round of 16 matches will face their region’s other winner in the quarterfinals. The last player standing in Region 1 will face Region 2’s sole survivor in the semifinals, and the final two players in each tournament will play in the final match of the Europe Top 16 Cup Montreux 2026.
