The Princeton Revolution started their year at the bottom of the East Division, going winless in their Season 3 debut during Week 4.
Today at 11 a.m. EST, the Revolution have a chance to go 3-0 and establish themselves as one of the league’s most feared teams.
Thanks to stars Seungmin Cho, Koyo Kanamitsu, and Benedek Olah, the Revolution have turned a dire start into a moment they can look back and laugh at. And none of their opponents are laughing now that they have a chance to go undefeated for Week 6.
To do that, they’ll have to beat the Chicago Wind. Sitting at third in the West Division, the Wind hope to catapult back into postseason contention, and with Robert Gardos, Mo Zhang, and Emmanuel Lebesson, they have the talent to do so.
After this morning's battle of the third-seeds, the Atlanta Blazers will play their final match in front of their home crowd this weekend at 2:30 p.m. EST. The Blazers, one of Major League Table Tennis (MLTT)’s newest teams, are motivated to earn their first win in team history.
But can they take down the Bay Area Blasters? They narrowly lost to Princeton on Friday, but they took down Chicago on Saturday to improve their Week 6 record to 1-1. And as long as superstar Lily Zhang and Men’s MVP candidate Elsayed Lashin play well, they could very easily finish the weekend with a winning record.
