Jeet Chandra will not complete in the Atlanta Blazers' matches during Week 8 (Michael Mixon/Major League Table Tennis).

LOS ANGELES  Atlanta's Jeet Chandra (SPINDEX: 2681) will miss all three of his team’s Week 8 matches in Los Angeles due to a scheduling conflict, team sources tell Table Tennis TV.

Chandra is competing at the Indian National Ranking tournament this weekend. Rookie Chang Ping Cheng will take Chandra’s place on the active roster and make his Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) debut this week.

Chandra ranks as the league’s No. 32 player as of Friday, and he holds a 40% winning percentage in his singles games (6-9). He won two of his three singles games and contributed six Golden Game points during the Blazers’ first win in team history during Week 6.

The Blazers selected Chandra from the Texas Smash in the 2025 MLTT Expansion Draft in April. He is one of three veterans on the team, alongside Tom Feng and Jiwei Xia.

The Blazers have a record of 1-5 and 46 points heading into Week 8. They will face the Los Angeles Spinners (2-7, 79 points) on Friday at 10:30 p.m. EST, the Bay Area Blasters (3-6, 75 points) on Saturday at 7 p.m. EST and the New York Slice (6-3, 101 points) on Sunday at 7 p.m. EST.

All three of these matches will be streamed exclusively on Table Tennis TV, and the Blasters’ match against the Spinners on Friday will be free to watch. You can watch these matches on TableTennis.TV, iOS, Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV, and you will receive a 30-day free trial after signing up.
